Complete Review of Dell XPS 13 9380 Core i5-8265U Laptop Features

We are reviewing the 1080p and 4K versions of the XPS 13. The basic XPS 13 model that I reviewed was released in January 2019 for $ 899. It packs with an Intel Core i3 CPU, 4GB RAM, 128GB SSD, Intel UHD 620 Graphics GPU and 1920-1080 screen touch not the screen.

I also took the $ 1,599 model from Dell XPS 13 for this round. And full of stuff, including Intel Core i7-8565U 1.8 GHz with 16GB RAM, 1TB PCIe SSD, Intel UHD 620 Graphics GPU, and 4K touch screen.

If you are looking for a 2-in-1 laptop, the new Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 (coming July) offers an Intel Core 10th Gen processor and a keyboard that is larger than its predecessor in a thinner design.

XPS 13 9380 Laptop design

Golden rose? That was last year. 2019 is officially the year of Frost Silver and Arctic White. Dell decided to shake it up with a new color scheme that was as attractive as the previous model, if not more. 

Anodized aluminum has a light gray coating that stops a little pearl, looks shining like morning ice before giving way to sunrise. The Dell logo is perched in the middle of the lid as the only jewelry.

Peering along the sides of the system revealed that the Arctic White was waiting inside the laptop. The interior deck maintains fiberglass from the previous model which is simultaneously beautiful and strong.

Pure white continues towards the screen, outlining a bit of the InfinityEdge bezel border. Follow the bezel and you will find that the webcam has migrated from the bottom bezel to where it should be in the middle-top (more about that later).
